About

Black Pearl Ecological is a privately funded organization whose mission aims at conducting studies of regenerative agroforestry and agroecology, wildlife habitat, conducting related wildlife analysis and design Wildlife Habitat systems that meet the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Paris Agreement of 2015. Both require that we reinvent our agriculture methodologies. Agricultural emissions have to be reduced, carbon needs to be stored back in the ground while simultaneously biodiversity loss, desertification, land and water degradation issues need to be addressed.

With the earth's growing population and the negative effects of climate change, the agricultural sector is under pressure to find ways of increasing food production while promoting environmental enhancement.

We believe that a blend of Regenerative Agroforestry and Agroecology systems have the potential to produce more food, store CO2, increase biodiversity and restore degraded land while not reducing a farmer’s income (it may even increase it). That these system will support rural families and create a more livable landscape for humans and animals, demonstrating that environmental conservation and social justice can co-exist.

During these troubled times we would like to state that we are commited to protect and preserve the public lands that belong to us all . . . to defend public lands from threats such as climate change and fossil fuel development . . . support equitable access to the outdoors for all people . . . protect wildlife and habitats to ensure healthy ecosystems for future generations . . . advocate for sustainable policies that safeguard clean air, water and natures natural beauty.
